If on the day of a race the surface is altered (e.g., Turf to Dirt/All Weather or vice versa), then bets will stand.

Bets are settled to win unless Win/Place is selected. An Win/Place bet is a bet of twice the selected unit wager. It contains one bet of unit wager on the selection to Win and one bet of unit wager on the selection to be Placed according to the terms advertised for the event. In general, the Place part of Win/Place bets will be settled as per the following Place terms:

Position Payout is a fixed odds market, which gives you the option to place a bet on your horse to finish within a range of finishing positions. The payout of your bet is determined by the set multiplier assigned to the finishing position of your horse.

Bets on scratches will be deemed no action.

If a horse(s) is withdrawn from a specific race with odds of greater than +475, your selection will stand at the current prices. If the withdrawn horse(s) has odds of +450 or less, then your selection will be recalculated at the current prices. In the event of the number of runners in the race being equal to or less than the number of finishing positions offered at time of bet placement, then bets will be deemed no action.

For any Position Payout bets, in the event of a dead-heat, we will pay the full multiplication value for the higher place. As an example, if your horse dead heats for 3rd and 4th place, you will be paid in full for the 3rd place multiplier.

Our Double Result promo will apply to this market.

In all races the number of starters will be the number of starters coming under starters orders. Bets will not be accepted where the Place wager exceeds the Win wager. Win/Place 2 Leg Parlays, 3 Leg Parlays, and Multi Leg Parlays will be settled Win to Win and Place to Place in accordance with the above.

Each Way Extra bets are considered an offset to standard Win/Place terms. In the event of scratches, if the standard Win/Place terms change, then the Each Way Extra terms will also change accordingly (including changes to the number of places available and/or the market place fraction).

The price for the selection to win the race is less than for Win and Win/Place markets, but money back if your selection finishes second. Bets on scratches will be deemed no action, and when applicable Rule 4 will apply to all remaining runners based on the price of the scratched horse in the normal Win market (not the Cover Bet price). In the event of scratches, the number of places paid will remain the same, unless the number of runners in the race is equal to or less than the number of places paid, in which case all bets will be deemed no action. Dead-heat rules apply. Our Double Result offer will apply to this market.

As above but money back for finishing second or third.

As above but money back for finishing second, third, or fourth.

As above but money back for finishing second, third, fourth, or fifth.

As above but money back for finishing second, third, fourth, fifth, or sixth.

As above but money back for finishing second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, or seventh.

As above but money back for finishing second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, or eighth.

As above but money back for finishing second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, or ninth.

As above but money back for finishing second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, or tenth.

These markets are settled according to the terms advertised for the event. Bets on scratches will be deemed no action, and when applicable, a deduction will apply to all remaining runners based on the relevant Place Only/1-2/1-2-3 odds of the withdrawn horse at the time of withdrawal, using the table below. In the event of scratches, we reserve the right to change the place terms offered for subsequent bets placed. In the event of the number of runners in the race being equal to or less than the number of places offered at time of bet placement, then bets will be deemed no action. Normal dead-heat rules apply. Our Double Result offer will apply to this market. However, our Lucky 15/31/63 bonuses do not apply to Place Only bets.

Dead-heat rules apply. Where we offer odds on an event without a nominated selection(s), for settlement purposes the finishing position of the “without” selection(s) will be ignored.

In the event of a scratch or of scratches a Rule 4 deduction will be applied based on the price (in the specified “without” market) of the non-runner at the time of withdrawal.

If the specified “without” selection is a non-runner, bets stand.

In the case of a scratch or of scratches leaving only one quoted runner in a “without” market, then our Walkover rules will apply and bets will be deemed no action.

Where there are no finishers in a race excluding the “without” selections, then all bets will be deemed no action.

Any Win/Place terms advertised are settled on the actual number of runners who take part in the race, excluding the “without” selection(s).

When Fixed Odds Betting is available with 3 or more starters, bet365 may offer Fixed Odds Exacta Wagers. Exacta betting involves predicting 1st and 2nd places in a race.

In the event of a scratching which is 10.00 or less in the bet365 Fixed Odds Win Market, Fixed Odds Exactas placed prior to the scratching will be paid at the bet365 closing fixed odds exacta price. For scratchings over 10.00 the quoted odds will stand.

In the event of only 2 runners starting a race, all Fixed Odds Exacta wagers will be deemed no action.

In the event of only 1 starter completing the race, a dividend will be declared equal to the bet365 closing price in the fixed odds win market.

When Fixed Odds Betting is available with 3 or more starters, bet365 may offer Fixed Odds Trifecta Wagers. Trifecta betting involves predicting 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in a race.

In the event of a scratching which is 10.00 or less in the bet365 Fixed Odds Win Market, Fixed Odds Trifectas placed prior to the scratching will be paid at the bet365 closing fixed odds trifecta price. For scratchings over 10.00 the quoted odds will stand.

In the event of only 2 starters starting a race, all Fixed Odds Trifecta bets will be deemed no action.

In the event of only 2 starters completing the race, the result will be settled with a dividend being declared equal to the bet365 closing fixed odds exacta price, assuming the initial Trifecta bet contains the 2 finishers in the correct placings, with any of the other starters to finish third.

In the event of only 1 starter completing the race, a dividend will be declared equal to the bet365 closing price in the fixed odds win market.

Dead-heat rules apply.

Where a horse is scratched before coming under starter's orders, or is officially deemed by the runner to have taken no part in the race, then wagers will be returned on the scratched horse and winning bets will be subject to deductions in accordance with Rule 4 (Deductions). The rate of deduction will be based on the price of the scratched horse at the time of its scratching on the following scale:

Where there is a dead-heat, winning bets will be settled under the quote to the full wager. Where a horse finishes alone, bets will be settled over the quote. Where a horse finishes exactly on the quote, then all bets will be settled as no action.

All selections must be deemed an official runner or bets are deemed no action.

The selection that attains the highest finishing position is the winner. Bets will be settled on the Correct Weight or the All Clear result supplied by the official governing body.

Dead-heat rules apply.

If both or all selections fail to finish, all bets will be deemed no action and wagers returned.

Our Protest Promise promotion does not apply.

Where applicable, the named horse must win. All bets will be settled according to the official distance as stated at the weigh-in. Any scratches, then Rule 4 (Deductions) will apply to Horse Winning Distances (not applicable to Race Winning Distances). Where the named horse is a dead-heat winner, then bets will be settled as under to the full wager. Where a horse finishes alone, then bets settled as over.

For a specified race odds are offered for either of the named horses to win.

If either horse is declared a scratch, the entire bet will be deemed no action.

Standard Rule 4 deductions apply. Bets settled on the official result. Dead-heat rules apply.

In the event of scratches, all bets will be deemed no action if the number of runners in the race is equal to the two horses quoted.
