INTRODUCTION
These House Rules should be read in conjunction with the Terms and Conditions and Rules.
ELIGIBILITY
You are not permitted to access or use the bet365 Services if you are:
· under the age of twenty-one (21);
· a prohibited player;
· a casino key employee or a casino employee prohibited from wagering in any New Jersey casino or simulcasting facility; or
· If you are an employee of a sports’ governing body or its member teams who is not prohibited from wagering, you are required to register with the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement before placing a wager on a sports event.
FUNDING A SPORTS BET
Accordingly, if you want to place bets, you must deposit funds into your account. Accounts can be funded in US Dollars only.
Further details of how to deposit and withdraw funds can be found at Deposits/Withdrawals.
You may on occasion be awarded Bonus Bets, which can be used to fund or part fund bets. Bonus Bets are non-withdrawable and not included in any returns. Any returns gained from bets placed using this method will be added to your Withdrawable Balance. The terms of use for Bonus Bets will be available on the relevant promotions page or communication from us.
For more detail on Offers see section 13. Promotions, Bonuses, and Offers of the full Terms and Conditions.
The minimum wager for any sports bet is $0.10.
CALCULATION OF BETS
Odds can be displayed as American, Decimal or Fractional. These formats all describe the same chance of winning. For example, if you place a bet at -500, you would receive the same returns if you placed the bet at 1.20 or 1/5.
The "To Return" calculation available on the Website is the value to which bets will be settled. The wager/odds are for information purposes only. In parlays with a void selection(s) "To Return" figure is reduced accordingly. Should a customer include a non-starter/scratch or void selection in a parlay, the bet will be settled on the remaining selections.
SETTLEMENT AND PAYMENT OF WINNINGS
For events where there is no official "off" declared, the advertised start time of the event will be deemed the "off". If for any reason a bet is inadvertently accepted after an event has commenced (other than Live In Game as clearly indicated on the Website), bets will stand providing the final outcome is not known, and that no participant/team has gained any material advantage (e.g., a score, sending off for the other team, etc.) at the time the bet was placed.
If the outcome of an event/market is known, Late Bet rules apply.
Disputes over times bets are placed will be settled using the transaction log.
All times stated on the Website and/or referred to by bet365 staff relate to Eastern Standard Time unless stated otherwise.
If for any reason we are unable to validate the outcome of a particular market (e.g., due to loss of live pictures), all bets will be void, unless settlement of bets is already determined.
Winnings from settled bets are added to the balance of your betting account. Any funds/winnings credited to an account in error are not available for use, and bet365 reserves the right to void any transactions involving such funds and/or withdraw the relevant amount from your account and/or reverse the transaction, either at the time or retrospectively.
bet365 reserves the right to withhold payment and to declare bets on an event void if we have evidence that the following has occurred: (i) the integrity of the event has been called into question; (ii) the price(s) or pool has been manipulated; or (iii) match rigging has taken place. Evidence of the above may be based on the size, volume or pattern of bets placed with bet365 across any or all of our betting channels.
Where there is evidence of a series of bets each containing the same selection(s) having been placed by or for the same individual or syndicate of individuals, bet365 reserves the right to make bets void or withhold payment of returns pending the outcome of any subsequent investigation.
Where a bet has been Cashed Out before the event commences and the original wager is returned in full, the original bet will be treated as having been canceled.
Bets are settled to fractional prices, irrespective of the odds format used for bet placement.
For any Futures markets on Soccer, Football or Basketball that would naturally include Stoke City or a New Jersey state based College team, in the event of Stoke City or a New Jersey state based College team being declared the winning outcome or occupying a winning place in the market then all losing bets on non-winning outcomes within the specified market will be void and wagers returned to the customers.
INCORRECTLY POSTED EVENTS, ODDS, BETS, OR RESULTS
bet365 seeks to ensure that all odds displayed on the site are correct at the time of publishing. On occasions, there may however be incorrect prices published due to human or technical error or issues outside our control. An "Obvious Error" is one that, when viewed in context seems to be a clear outlier based on publicly known information or when compared to similar offerings in the industry.
bet365 will not be liable for any errors in respect of bets including where: (a) there is an Obvious Error in the relevant odds/spreads/handicap/totals/Cash Out amount displayed by bet365; (b) bet365 continues to accept bets or wagers on closed or suspended markets; or (c) bet365 incorrectly calculates or pays a settlement amount, including where a bet is Cashed Out for the full settlement amount; or (d) any error occurs in a random number generator or pay tables included, incorporated, or used in any game or product.
Where any Obvious Error has occurred bet365 will endeavor to contact you and, where there is sufficient time before the start of an event, we may, where possible, and in our absolute discretion, allow the option of canceling the bet.
Incorrect Price - Prior to the start of an event, Live In Game or after the event, where an Obvious Error is identified any bets will stand and be settled at the bet365 revised price. Where a revised price is deemed less than -100000 (1/1000) then bets will be void.
Incorrect Count/Line/Spread/Handicap/Total - Prior to the start of an event, Live In Game or after the event, where an Obvious Error is identified any bets will stand and be settled at the count, line, spread, handicap or total taken at the bet365 revised price except for the following situations:
i) Where a revised price is deemed less than -100000 (1/1000) then bets will be void.
ii) Any bet placed on a count, line, spread, handicap or total where the outcome is already known when the bet was placed will be void.
Incorrect Cash Out Amount - Prior to the start of an event, Live In Game or after the event, any bets that have been Cashed Out by the customer, where the Cash Out amount is incorrect (due to an error in the underlying price), will stand and be resettled at the correct amount.
Where a selection is Cashed Out following an incorrect result the selection will be resettled on the correct result.
Incorrect Event - Where an incorrect player or team is quoted within an event all bets will be void. Such determination is to be in bet365’s absolute discretion.
Incorrect Market - If an incorrect market is quoted for an event, bets placed on that market will be void; other markets may also be void. Such determination is to be in bet365’s absolute discretion.
Late Bets - If for any reason a bet is inadvertently accepted after an event has commenced, or after the selected participant or team has gained a material advantage (e.g., a score, sending off for the other team etc.) bets will be settled as follows:
i) If the event and market is covered Live In Game then bets will stand at the revised price at the time the bet was placed (where a revised price is deemed less than -100000 (1/1000) then bets will be void). Any bet placed where the outcome is already known will be made void.
ii) If the event or market is not covered Live In Game then the bet will stand as long as the selected participant or team has not gained a material advantage (e.g., a score, sending off for the other team etc.). Where a material advantage has been gained bet365 reserves the right to deem the bet no action, win or lose. Any bet placed where the outcome is already known will be void.
Related Contingency Betting - Parlays which combine different selections within the same event are not accepted where the outcome of one affects or is affected by the other.
For example, in a football game involving the DAL Cowboys and the NE Patriots:
If the DAL Cowboys are +100 to win at home to the NE Patriots and the winning margin odds for the DAL Cowboys to win by 1-6 points is +800, by having the 2 Leg Parlay the DAL Cowboys to win and the winning margin to be 1-6 points, a customer would be getting +1700 about an +800 chance, for if the DAL Cowboys win by 1-6 points they would automatically have won the game.
If such a bet is taken in error it will be settled as two straight bets with the wager equally divided.
An exception to this rule is where special odds are offered for the combined eventuality, e.g., First Touchdown Scorers/Winning Margin 2 Leg Parlay or where a customer has combined interrelated bets into one bet using the Same Game Parlay.
When the related parts of a bet are resolved at different times but still within the same tournament, the bet will be settled as instructed, with the price of the second or subsequent selection being determined at each individual stage.
For example, a 2 Leg Parlay selecting:
Federer to win the semi final of Wimbledon; and
Federer to win the Wimbledon tournament outright.
As the odds of the second selection depends on the outcome of the first, the odds of Roger Federer winning the tournament at the time the bet was struck cannot be used to calculate the 2 Leg Parlay, and the correct odds after the initial selection is completed will be attributed instead.
Parlays that combine different selections within different events are also not accepted where the outcome of one affects or is affected by the other.
For example, a 2 Leg Parlay selecting:
Sergio Garcia to win the US Open Golf; and
Sergio Garcia to win the US Money List.
As the odds for Sergio Garcia to win the US Money List depend on whether he wins the US Open Golf, the odds for him to win the US Money List at the time the bet was struck cannot be used to calculate the 2 Leg Parlay. A special price to win both events will be quoted instead.
In the case of all parlays including selections with related outcomes, if a bet is taken inadvertently bet365 reserves the right to void part of or the whole of the bet.

MAXIMUM WINNINGS
Maximum Winnings, which shall never exceed $5,000,000 US Dollars, and are exclusive of wager and any bonuses, will be displayed at the point of wager and determined on an individual basis, using the stake/risk at the odds accepted. Should a requested wager amount mean that the specific maximum winnings are exceeded; that amount will be limited prior to the placement of the wager.
Maximum Winnings limits apply to any one customer, or group of customers acting together, who have placed bets containing the same selections, including where placed in a series of bets, at a range of prices, over a number of days using different betting accounts and/or across different betting channels. Should we have reason to believe that a number of bets have been placed this way, the total payment of all those bets combined will be limited to one single Maximum Winnings payout.
