Postponed/Re-Scheduled Races
If a race is postponed or re-scheduled, either to later in the day or to another day, and final declarations stand, then bets stand. However, straight bets on horse racing will be deemed no action and any selection involved in parlays will be treated as a scratch if:
-
The race is abandoned.
-
The race is officially declared void.
-
The conditions of the race are altered after bets are made (as defined under Tattersalls rules).
-
The venue is altered.
ReRuns
In the event of a false start, etc., resulting in a race being re-run, “under Starter's Orders” is negated and wagers will be refunded on horses taking no part in the rerun. Returns on the remaining runners subject to Rule 4 (Deductions). The number of runners taking part in the re-run governs Place terms.
Walkovers and Void Horse Races
Walkovers and void races count as races, but any horse so involved will be treated as a scratch for settlement purposes.
Early Morning Prices/Day of Event Prices
After the final declarations stage, scratch no-bet. Rule 4 (Deductions) will apply.
Best Odds Guaranteed
Best Odds Guaranteed is available to all new and eligible customers on every Horse race where we offer fixed odds Win and Win/Place betting, and includes straight bets and parlays, as well as Bet Boost and Showcast bets, subject to Terms and Conditions specific to the offer.
Betting Without
Dead-heat rules apply. Where we offer prices on an event without a nominated selection(s), for settlement purposes the finishing position of the ‘without’ selection(s) will be ignored.
Scratches
In the event of a scratch(es) a Rule 4 deduction will be applied based on the odds (in the specified “without” market) of the scratch at the time of withdrawal. In the case of a scratch(es) leaving only one quoted runner in a “without” market, then our Walkover rules will apply and bets will be deemed no action.
Where there are no finishers in a race, excluding the “without” selections, then all bets will be deemed no action.
Win/Place
Any Win/Place terms advertised are settled on the actual number of runners who take part in the race excluding the “without” selection(s).
Dead Heats
Where two selections dead-heat, half the wager money is lost and the full odds are paid to the other half. If more than two dead-heat, the wager is proportioned accordingly.
Reserves
In races with reserves, all participants will be priced. Where reserves do not run, then no Rule 4 (Deductions) will be applicable.
However, if a reserve takes the place of a withdrawn horse (therefore becoming an official runner), but is subsequently declared a scratch, then a Rule 4 (Deductions) may apply.
In races with reserves, any bets taken prior to a reserve horse being declared to run and if the reserve was not priced up at the time the bet was placed, then any such bets will be settled on the result "without the reserve runner(s)". Win/Place bets settled on the result "without the reserve runner(s)" will be based on the number of runners, excluding reserves, that start the race.
