As part of our commitment to safer gambling you may find that we have set Limits on your account.
We do this in order to keep our customers’ gambling affordable.
Please note that these limits are subject to ongoing reviews by bet365.
Any Limits applied to your account by bet365 are separate and independent to any personal Deposit Limits you choose to set.
If your personal Deposit Limits arelower than the limits applied to your account by bet365, you will only be able to deposit an amount up to the personal Deposit Limit.
More information on Personal Deposit Limits can be found here.
Net Deposit Limits
We may impose limits on the maximum amount you can lose over a rolling 24 hour, 28 day and/or 12 month period. Losses are defined as total deposits minus total withdrawals over a certain period (net deposits).
In line with regulatory guidelines and industry-wide standards, activity over the last 6 months may be considered when calculating your limits. In certain cases, this may result in additional deposit amounts becoming available to you.
In accordance with strict regulatory requirements, we are required to conduct Financial Vulnerability Checks on customers when their level of losses reach a certain level. Where risks are identified, we may impose lower Net Deposit Limits on customers in order to keep their gambling affordable.
We may also impose limits on the maximum amount you can deposit over a rolling 24-hour period. This is calculated by adding up all your deposits over that time frame.
How do Net Deposit Limits work?
Your Net Deposit Limits are based on the sum of all processed deposits minus withdrawals on a rolling basis.
Once you have reached your net deposit limit, further deposits would be prevented.
For example, if you have a 28-day Net Deposit Limit set for £250, you deposit £200 and withdraw £50, you will have £100 available to deposit for the remainder of the 28-day period (£250 limit - £150 in net deposits).
Can I increase my limits?
You may have the option to request an increase to your limits, however, this option may not be available.
If this option is available to you, we will inform you as such when you attempt to make a deposit that would exceed any limits set by bet365.
In order to increase your limits we will require additional financial information from you. For increased security of your data, we work with Bet Budget, to provide you with a safe and easy way to send us your documents. Once you have submitted a request to increase your limits, you can use the link provided in our e-mail response.
Will Financial Vulnerability Checks affect my credit score?
We do not run credit checks on customers. We do, however, use information from credit reference agencies. The data we gather on you as part of a Financial Vulnerability Check is public information such as bankruptcy and County Court Judgments (CCJ) data.
These checks will not appear on any records that other companies can see. You will, however, be able to see them on your own file; this enables you to keep track of which companies have done searches, but will have no impact on your credit score or future applications.
All data is handled with in strict accordance with our Privacy Policy
