Settlement of Wagers
Statistics provided by the official score(s) provider or the official website of the relevant competition or fixture will be used to settle wagers. Where statistics from an official score(s) provider or official website are not available or there is significant evidence that the official score(s) provider or official website is incorrect, we will use independent evidence to support bet settlement.
In the absence of consistent, independent evidence or in the presence of significant conflicting evidence, bets will be settled based on our own statistics.
Election Betting
All betting within a given election is singles only. Accumulative bets accepted in error will be settled as singles with the stake apportioned.
Settlement of all bets will be based on the total votes cast and counted at the time of the election, and not on any subsequent legal challenge.
UK General Elections
Party Totals
Party Totals will be counted based on the party that the elected MPs stood for in the election, and will not be altered based on any subsequent defections. The Speaker, if seeking re-election, will not count as an MP of any party.
Postponed Constituency Election
Any constituency that has its election postponed from the normal polling day will not count for settlement purposes. Constituency betting on such a seat will be made void.
Overall Majority
Bets on an Overall Majority require the Party to win an absolute majority of the seats contested on polling day (e.g. 326 out of 650). If no party does so then “No Majority” will be settled as the winner. If some MPs [e.g. Sinn Fein] do not take their seats that does not change the requirement under this rule.
Next Government and Prime Minister
Next Government and Prime Minister after the next General Election will be settled based on the first government formed after the General Election. For the avoidance of doubt, that government must pass a King's Speech or win a confidence motion in the House of Commons. For a party to be considered part of a coalition they must have representation in the Cabinet. A minority government is one in which the parties forming a coalition have fewer than 326 seats.
Turnout Betting
Turnout bets will be settled on UK-wide turnout on the normal polling day. Vote Share Betting, including Most Votes, will apply on GB seats only (so excluding Northern Ireland), unless otherwise specified.
Next Party Leader Markets
Temporary, interim, or caretaker leaders do not count, unless they lead their party into a General Election.
US Election
All bets are settled on the winner of the election and not on the person who is inaugurated.
Electoral College Votes
Bets on Total U.S. Electoral College Votes will be settled based on the vote in each state (and in each Congressional district in Maine and Nebraska) on the day of the election, and not on the actual meeting of the electoral college.
US Primaries and Caucuses
All markets will be settled on vote share, and not on the national delegate count arising from the vote. Where vote share is not declared, as in some caucuses, then we will use the number of state delegates or equivalents won to settle the market.
Candidate Popular Vote Percentage
Settlement is based on the percentage of the popular vote won by the named candidate; using figures as published by CNN.
Candidate Popular Vote Tally
Settlement is based on the tally of the popular vote won by the named candidate; using figures as published by CNN.
Total States Won by Party
Settlement is based on the number of states the named party win, in the popular vote. The District of Columbia does not count for the purpose of this market.

To Win Outright
To Win Outright will be settled on the Party that provides the Prime Minister for Federal Elections (Australia) and General Elections (New Zealand), the Premier for State Elections and the Chief Minister for Territory Elections.
Total Labor Seats (Australia - House of Representatives)
Will be settled on the total seats won by the ALP in the House of Representatives.
Total Coalition Seats (Australia - House of Representatives)

Total Labour Seats (New Zealand – House of Representatives)
Will be settled on the total seats won by the New Zealand Labour Party in the House of Representatives.
Total National Seats (New Zealand – House of Representatives)
Will be settled on the total seats won by the New Zealand National Party in the House of Representatives.
Party State Total Seats (Australia – House of Representatives)
Will be settled on the total seats won in the specified State, by the named Party or Coalition in the House of Representatives.
Party Vote Share
Will be settled on the exact two party preferred vote percentage that the named Party or Coalition receive at the Federal Election, determined by the final result released by the AEC.
Correct Election Result and Seat Handicap (Australia)
Correct Election Result and Seat Handicap (Australia) will be settled on the AEC Declaration of Poll, and includes all the Liberal/National/LNP/CLP Parties seats counted in Coalition in the House of Representatives.
Correct Election Result and Seat Handicap (New Zealand)
Correct Election Result and Seat Handicap (New Zealand) will be settled on the New Zealand Electoral Commission Declaration of Poll in the House of Representatives.
Seat Winner
Seat Winner will be settled on the Party of the Elected Candidate as per the ballot paper.
Hung Parliament (Australia and New Zealand)
A Hung Parliament in Australia is defined as neither Labor (ALP) or the Coalition (Liberal/National/LNP/CLP Parties) holding a majority of seats in the House of Representatives.
A Hung Parliament in New Zealand is defined as neither Labour or the National Parties holding a majority of seats in the House of Representatives.
